OVERVIEW:

Fire can be one of the most frightening events we can experience...but it doesn’t have to be. This Fire Safety training course is designed to raise awareness of the hazards within the work environment and to provide participants with the confidence and knowledge to protect themselves and others. Course Content includes:

• Causes of Fire

• The Fire Pyramid

• Types of Fire

• Types and Purpose of Fire Extinguishers

• Video/ Case Study

• Practical Demonstrations and exercise using Fire Extinguishers

• Fire Avoidance / Precautions

• Fire Drills

• Fire Audits and routine checks

 

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Personnel Staff members who have been nominated as Fire Warden or ‘competent persons’. In fact any member of staff who wants to get more involved in fire safety should attend.
